Details:
On or about Monday, November 2nd, 2020, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and a dump truck sent a man to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities said the accident happened near the intersection of 12th Street and Genesee Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
Law enforcement sources said an as-of-yet unidentified motorcyclist was killed when he was struck by a dump truck that allegedly turned into his path. The dump truck burst into flames following the initial collision.
First responders rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital where he was last reported in critical condition.
Examining the area on Google Streetview reveals 12th Street runs east and west, while Genesee Street runs north and south. The intersection is situated in the western portion of Kansas City.
Both state and local law enforcement are assisting in the investigation.
