Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, a motorcyclist was travelling south on Magnolia Avenue when an unknown driver began a U-turn from the side of the street, turning into the path of the motorcyclist. The driver of the motorcycle crashed into the driver’s side door of the truck, and the driver of the box truck exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, California Highway Patrol reports.
Authorities do not feel the driver of the box truck was a U-Haul employee, and are still searching for the driver, and the identity of the motorcyclist has yet to be released.
