On or about Thursday, October 14th 2021, around 11:04 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent an 82 year old Goodhue woman to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 52 in Zumbrota, Minnesota.
Police from the area said 82-year-old Nancyly Gretchen Arndt was injured when the SUV she was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions on Highway 52. Paramedics transported Arndt to the hospital with unknown injuries after the collision. Authorities identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Lawrence Anthony Putzier, who was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 52 runs north and south along the western edge of Zumbrota, which is situated about 63 miles south of downtown Minneapolis.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
