On or about Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left a 21-year-old man dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 87 in Lynn County, Texas.
Sources from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 21-year-old Nathan Villanueva Lugo was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck Lugo’s Jeep Renegade SUV while he was attempting a U-turn along Highway 87. Emergency responders pronounced Lugo dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the crash. The as-of-yet unidentified driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident.
