Details

Nathan M. Vogelsang and Landen J.W. Comer were killed Wednesday, November 27, 2024, when Vogelsang reportedly lost control of their Ford F-450 Dump Truck and crossed the center line of US 421 into oncoming traffic. The dump truck crashed nearly head-on into a southbound Semi-Truck being driven by Oleh Hrudneko. Vogelsang and Comer were pronounced dead at the scene by Indiana State Police, while Hrudneko was treated for minor injuries.

The resulting accident left US 421 closed for nearly five hours for cleanup and investigation, and authorities have stated there were no indications drugs or alcohol were involved.
