Details:
On or about Sunday, May 8th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, an accident between a pedestrian and a motorcycle left a 65-year-old man dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 14 in Coryell County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said 65-year-old Nazario Garcia Armando was killed when he was allegedly hit by a motorcycle as he was walking alongside or tried to cross Interstate 14. Emergency responders pronounced Armando dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. The as-of-yet unidentified 26-year-old driver of the motorcycle was transported to Baylor Scott & White hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from the exchange with Bell Tower Road.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
