On or about Monday, April 12th, 2021, around 6:35 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck, a tractor-trailer, and an SUV left one man dead and sent a woman to the hospital. Authorities from the ASP said the accident happened along Highway 270 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Deputies from the Garland County Sheriff’s Office said an SUV driven by 29-year-old Nicholas Perry allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 270 and struck a tractor-trailer and a Ford-F350 in the westbound lanes. Perry died of his injuries after the accident. Police identified the driver of the Ford F-350 as 39-year-old Amber Steinhauer, who was treated for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Hot Springs is about 54 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock.
