Details:
On or about Friday, March 25th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, a serious accident betweeen a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a man and woman dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Route 37 in Williamson County, Illinois.
Law enforcement officials from the Illinois State Police said 34-year-old Nicholas Strum and 36-year-old Robin Sides were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly failed to yield and struck the pickup truck Strum was driving. Emergency responders pronounced Strum and Sides dead a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident on Route 37 is at the intersection of Route 148.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
