On or about Thursday, March 31st, 2022, around 2:24 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead and sent three other people to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 3130 just outside Sonora in Sutton County, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas DPS said 32-year-old Noe Rolando Hernandez-Lopez was killed and three other people were injured when the vehicle they were in crashed under unspecified circumstances along FM 3130. Emergency responders pronounced Hernandez-Lopez dead a short time after the accident, while three other people were taken to the hospital.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Sonora.
