On or about Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, a serious accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left a 41-year-old man dead. Spokespeople from the SAPD said the accident was reported along Highway 16 in San Antonio, Texas.
Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said 41-year-old Noel Zapata was killed when the motorcycle he was on was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer along Highway 16. Emergency responders pronounced Zapata dead a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with SW Loop 410.
Authorities are still examining the crash.
