On or about Thursday, October 22nd, 2020, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and an 18-wheeler left a 41-year-old woman. Local officers said that the accident happened in the 9200 block of East Old Vail Road in Tucson, Arizona.
Authorities said that 41-year-old Nole Rene Simonsen was killed when the Ford Escape she was in collided with a tractor-trailer that was allegedly reversing into a driveway and blocking the eastbound lanes. Paramedics pronounced Simonsen dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
Google Maps shows East Old Vail Road as two lanes with a shared turn lane dividing east and westbound traffic. The area where the accident took place is located in the southeast part of Tucson.
