Details:
On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 6:50 in the evening, a major single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of one individual. Representatives from the Department of Pubic Safety said the was reported along FM 2692 in Cherokee County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said 51-year-old Omar Moreno was killed when the passenger vehicle he was in allegedly drove off the side of FM 2962 and crashed. Emergency responders pronounced Moreno dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the crash. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with CR 1214.
