Details:
On or about November 17th, 2020, around 6:16 in the evening, an accident between a pickup truck sent two 37-year-old men to the hospital. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 59 and County Road 3541 in Cass County, Texas.
Officers said Omar Godinez Bautista and his passenger, both 37-years-old, were injured when their pickup truck was hit by a tractor-trailer that allegedly failed to yield. The pickup truck was southbound on Highway 59 when the tractor-trailer on County Road 3541 allegedly failed to yield.
Paramedics transported Bautista and an as-of-yet unidentified passenger to the hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Cass County is situated just outside Texarkana, about 171 miles northeast of Dallas.
Texas DPS is still investigating the accident.
