Details
One driver was injured after colliding with a road sign on Interstate 95 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The unnamed dump truck driver had the bed of the dump truck raised and proceeded to strike the road signs above the Interstate, directly under the Route 141 bridge. The impact sent the bed flying off the truck, causing another dump truck driver to swerve, crashing into a nearby guardrail and landing off to the side of the road. Multiple other vehicles were also involved, but the Delaware Department of Transportation has not reported any additional injures at this time.
