Details:
On or about Sunday, January 16th, 2022, around 8:25 at night, a single-vehicle ATV accident sent an 18-year-old to the hospital. Authorities from the HPD said the accident was reported along Wright Road near the intersection with Wright Road in Harris County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified 18-year-old was injured when the ATV he was on allegedly veered off the side of Wright Road and crashed into a gate. Paramedics transported the driver of the ATV to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
Police have indicated the driver of the ATV may have been drinking before the accident.
Authorities are still investigating.
