On or about Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, around 7:30 in the morning, a serious box truck accident with a passenger vehicle sent one woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Central Road and East River Road in Glenview, Illinois.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when the car she was in and a box truck collided under unknown conditions while driving at or near the intersection of Central Road and East River Road. Emergency responders transported the driver of the car to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Glenview is about 24 miles north of downtown Chicago.
