On or about Monday, November 1st, 2021, around 11:52 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a car sent a woman to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Wilke Road and Dundee Road in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Police said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when her car was allegedly struck by a box truck that may have either been racing the yellow light, or failed to yield at the intersection of Dundee Road and Wilke Road. After the initial collision, the box truck rolled to one side. Paramedics transported the woman in the car to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. The driver of the box truck was uninjured in the collision.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Wilke Road and Dundee Road is about 27 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.
