On or about Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a box truck and a tractor-trailer left one person injured. Troopers from the GSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 in Dekalb County, Georgia.
Representatives from the Georgia State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a plank of wood allegedly fell from a tractor-trailer and hit a box truck along Interstate 20. Emergency responders treated the driver of the box truck for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 cuts east and west into Dekalb County.
Authorities are still examining the incident.
