On or about Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian, a box truck, and a disabled vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported on the Interstate 25 off ramp near Curtis Street in Evansville, Wyoming.

Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was seriously injured when a box truck allegedly took the off-ramp too fast and struck a pedestrian and a disabled vehicle. Officials indicated the victim had exited their vehicle following a previous accident when the box truck the pedestrian and the car. Paramedics airlifted the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 25 winds east and west through Evansville, which is a short distance northwest of Casper.

State and local officials assisted after the accident.
