Details:
On or about Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, a serious accident between a box truck and a disabled vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Law enforcement spokespeople from the area said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 390 in Gates, New York.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified 50-year-old man from Greece was injured when his car was allegedly struck by a box truck after it may have broken down in or on the side of the roadway. Paramedics transported the driver of the car to Strong Hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the collision. The driver of the box truck was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 390 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Gates, which is situated on the east side of Rochester.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
