Details:
On or about Sunday, September 12th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a motorcycle and a box truck sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 80 just outside Morris, Illinois.
Deputies from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a motorcycle and a box truck collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Morris Hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 runs east and west along the northern edge of Morris, which is about 61 miles southwest of Chicago.
Police are still working to pin down the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
