On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, around 10:40 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a car sent one person to the hospital. Investigators from the area said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in New Haven, Connecticut.
Spokespeople from local law enforcement said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was rushed to the hospital after their car allegedly struck the back of a stopped box truck in the southbound lanes near Exit 46. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown severity.
Interstate 95 runs north and south through the heart of New Haven, according to Google Maps. Authorities took two hours to clear the scene off the interstate.
