On or about Monday, August 30th, 2021, around 2:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a pedestrian sent a 38-year-old man to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported in a parking lot at 14 Larkin Street in Bangor, Maine.
Officers said an as-of-yet unidentified 38-year-old was seriously injured when he was allegedly run over by a box truck he may have been laying under when the truck pulled away from a parking spot. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital with serious head injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident on Larkin Street is not far from downtown Bangor.
Police are still investigating.
