On or about Tuesday, June 28th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the area said the accident was reported along Leestown Road near the intersection with New Circle Road in Lexington, Kentucky.
Troopers from the Kentucky State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a box truck and an SUV collided under unknown conditions. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Officials did not specify if the victim was in the SUV or the box truck at the time of the accident.
