On or about Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a box truck sent one woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Essex County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Lynnfield Street near the intersection with Antonio Drive in Peabody, Massachusetts.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was rushed to the hospital after her car and a box truck allegedly collided under unknown circumstances. Emergency responders transported the woman to Mass General Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. Authorities did not elaborate on how the accident may have happened.
According to Google Streetview, Lynnfield Street runs east and west with two lanes, with heavily wooded patches a short distance off either side of the pavement.
Police are still trying to determine how the accident happened.
