On or about Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, an accident between a cargo truck and a pedestrian sent one woman to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of West Powell Street and North Oates Street in Dothan, Alabama.
Local law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when she was allegedly hit by a cargo truck as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the roadway. Emergency responders rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she was last reported in critical condition by medical staff. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
