On or about Monday, April 19th, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a car sent one person to the hospital. Investigator said the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 54/35 and State Road 93 in Trempealeau, Wisconsin.
Deputies from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was hurt when their car was allegedly struck by a box truck in the intersection. Police did not specify which vehicle may have had the right-of-way at the time of the collision. Emergency responders transported the driver of the car to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Trempealeau sits along the banks of the Mississippi River, about 132 miles southeast of Minneapolis.
State Police assisted at the scene of the accident.
