On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 11:15 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a person on a scooter sent a woman to the hospital. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of Meeker Avenue and Skillman Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

Police spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified 24-year-old woman was injured when she was allegedly hit by a turning box truck while she was riding her scooter at Meeker Avenue and Skillman Avenue. Emergency responders transported the woman to Bellevue Hospital with unspecified injuries. The 33-year-old box truck driver was unhurt in the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Skillman Avenue and Meeker Avenue is in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
