Details:
On or about Thursday, December 9th, 2021, around 8:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a box truck sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 in Willis, Texas.
Officials from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the box truck they were driving allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 45. Paramedics transported the driver of the box truck to nearby HCA Hospital in Conroe with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. The driver of the tractor-trailer, who police did not identify, did not report injuries following the collision.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 45 cuts north and south through Willis, which is situated about 48 miles north of downtown Houston.
