On or about Wednesday, April 28th, 2021, an accident between two cars and a bus sent at least one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along the Marsha Sharp Freeway near the exchange with Slide Road in Lubbock, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a bus and two other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident. Authorities did not speculate on how the accident may have started in their initial report. Paramedics transported at least one person to the hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the Marsha Sharp Expressway runs east and west through Lubbock, while Slide Road runs north and south. Slide Road crosses the Marsha Sharp Expressway with an overpass spanning the roadway.
Police are still investigating.
