On or about Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a city bus and a pedestrian sent one individual to the hospital. Officers from the APD said the accident was reported at the intersection of Menaul Boulevard and Carlisle Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Local law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was seriously injured when they were allegedly hit by a passing city bus as they were walking along or made an attempt to cross the street at Carlisle Boulevard and Menaul Boulevard. Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where they were last reported in critical condition by medical staff.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Carlisle and Menaul Boulevard is on the northeast side of Albuquerque.

Officers are still investigating the accident.
