On or about Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, around 7:45 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a metro bus sent one individual to the hospital. Officials from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of South Congress and Krebs in Austin, Texas.

Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was rushed to the hospital after they were allegedly struck by a bus as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on South Congress. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of South Congress and Krebs is on the south side of Austin.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
