On or about Monday, May 2nd, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of 141st Street and Avenue V in Lubbock, Texas.
Authorities from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic near 141st Street and Avenue V. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 141st Street and Avenue V is on the south side of Lubbock.
Police are still investigating the incident.
