Details:
On or about December 12th, 2021, around 12:50 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left one person injured. Investigators from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along 19th Street at or near the intersection with Rock Creek Road in Waco, Texas.
Deputies from the McLennan County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of 19th Street and slammed into a tree a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
Police said the driver may have admitted to drinking before the accident.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
