On or about Sunday, December 5th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Anna Avenue and Burnside Street in Laredo, Texas.
Local law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was rushed to the hospital when they were hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the street at Anna and Burnside. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Burnside Street and Anna Avenue is on the north side of Laredo.
Police are still investigating.
