On or about Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, around 11:00 at night, an accident between two passenger vehicles sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along De Zavala Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when her vehicle was allegedly hit head-on by a turning vehicle along De Zavala Road. After the initial accident, the driver of the turning vehicle left the scene but returned a short time later. Emergency responders transported the woman to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the collision.
Police are trying to determine if the driver of the turning vehicle was under the influence.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of San Antonio.
Officials are still investigating.
