On or about Sunday, May 15th, 2022, around 2:37 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual injured. Representatives from the APD said the accident was reported at the intersection of East 7th Street and Neches Street in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic at East 7th and Neches. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in downtown Austin.
