Details:
On or about Friday, March 18th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle rollover accident sent one woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of East Elmira Street and McCullough Avenue in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when the vehicle she was driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and flipped down onto the lanes of the lower deck of Interstate 35. Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of East Elmira Street and McCullough Avenue is a short distance north of downtown San Antonio.
Authorities are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
