On or about Thursday, February 10th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of North Hyden Avenue and Erskine Street in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the pickup truck they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed into a residence a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported one person from the vehicle to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of North Hyden Avenue and Erskine Street is on the northwest side of Lubbock.
