Details:
On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, a major single-vehicle rollover car accident sent one individual to the hospital by helicopter. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 2046 in San Patricio County, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of FM 2046 and crashed into a culvert a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders airlifted the victim to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of Sinton.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
