On or about Thursday, October 28th, 2021, around 7:55 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent a 57-year-old man to the hospital. Law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 471 near County Road 672 in Medina County, Texas.
Police officers said an as-of-yet unidentified 57-year-old man was injured when he was allegedly hit by a passing motorist as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of FM 471. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police believe alcohol may have played a role on the part of the pedestian.
Officials are still investigating.
