On or about Thursday, March 10th, 2022, sometime in the daylight hours, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a police patrol vehicle left one person injured. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported in the 200 block of Gentry Parkway in Tyler, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle she was driving allegedly struck the back of a police patrol SUV on Gentry Parkway. Paramedics treated the driver of the passenger vehicle for unspecified injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Tyler.
Police are still investigating.
