On or about Sunday, December 5th, 2021, a single-vehicle accident left at least one person injured. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of West Highland Boulevard and South Abe Street in San Angelo, Texas.

Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when the Dodge Challenger they were driving allegedly veered off the side of the road and collided with a tree a short distance off the pavement at Highland Boulevard and South Abe Street. Paramedics treated at least one person or unspecified injuries after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they were treated at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police did not mention any other vehicles in connection to the incident.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
