On or about Friday, December 17th, 2021, sometime in the nighttime hours, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Highway 21 near the exchange with Marino Road in Bryan, Texas.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was rushed to the hospital when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 21. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Bryan is situated about 102 miles northeast of Bryan.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
