On or about Thursday, March 10th, 2022, around 11:40 at night, a serious single-vehicle rollover car accident sent one individual to the hospital with serious injuries. Spokespeople from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 8000 block of U.S. Highway 290 in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly crashed and rolled along Highway 290. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature stemming from the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Austin.
