Details:
On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 3:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person injured. Spokespeople from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Highway 290 service road in Austin, Texas.
Representatives from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of the Highway 290 service road. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Austin.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
