Details:
On or about December 12th, 2021, around 2:25 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent one individual to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 36 in Fort Bend County, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and rolled in a culvert a short distance off the pavement of Highway 36. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Fort Bend County is about 36 miles southwest of downtown Houston.
Officials are still examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
