On or about Thursday, February 23rd, 2022, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between two vehicles sent one individual to the hospital. Investigators from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 63 West near Recreational Road 255 in Jasper County, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered over the center line of the roadway and struck another vehicle in the oncoming lanes. Paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of Jasper County.
Police are still investigating the incident.
