Details:
On or about Thursday, March 10th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, a major two-vehicle accident sent one individual to the hospital in a helicopter. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 82 at or near the intersection with Bois D’Arc Street in Whitesboro, Texas.
Deputies from the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was seriously injured when an SUV pulled out into traffic into the path of a Jeep. Emergency responders cut one person from the wreckage and airlifted them to a hospital in Plano, Texas with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 72 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Authorities are still trying to pin down exactly what happened in the accident.
