On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, around 3:12 in the afternoon, an accident between a Chevrolet Equinox and a Toyota Corolla sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along Iowa Avenue in Brownsville, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a Chevrolet Equinox allegedly struck the side of a Toyota Corolla that was backing out of a private driveway. Paramedics transported the driver of the Corolla to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Officials said the driver of the Equinox may have been drinking before the collision.
According to Google Maps, Brownsville is about 276 miles south of San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the collision.
